Cosmic Yoga & Pilates is a contemporary studio, specialising in Vinyasa Flow & Reformer Pilates.

Founded by Bianca Tredrea & Inese Meiers, Cosmic Yoga & Pilates in located in West Lakes, South Australia – an inclusive and welcoming lakeside haven, full of joy & warmth.

Our signature Yoga classes draw predominantly on the work of Pattabhi Jois (Ashtanga), with our Cosmic Flows & Yoga Conditioning practiced in a heated room. Unheated yoga classes include Posture Lab, Slow Flow, YIN Yoga & Recovery.

Reformer Pilates classes are modern and versatile, whilst staying true to the traditional Pilates Method. Small class numbers provide more individualised attention.

  • We chose European Hydronic Heating as our preferred method of warming the yoga space, as it slowly heats the air rather than surfaces. This allows your body’s core temperature to rise gradually, enabling you to safely access your full expression of the yoga poses.

    The heat helps you to relax and release tension, to accelerate your body’s natural detoxification systems, therefore promoting healthy skin tone and overall wellbeing.

    Our signature heated classes include Cosmic Flow 1 & Cosmic Flow 2. You can find the full class descriptions here.

  • For beginners, our first yoga recommendation would be to try our Posture Lab class. From here, we would also recommend our additional unheated classes, Slow Flow or Yin Yoga class. You can find our yoga class descriptions here.

    Our first Reformer Pilates recommendation would be the ‘Reformer Align’ class, which is available throughout the week, Monday to Sunday. For more information visit our Reformer Pilates page.

  • Purchasing a pass and booking in for a class be done so via your desktop or mobile.

    OPTION 1: Mobile App

    If you are using a mobile, simply download the 'Cosmic Studio' App. Once you have downloaded the app, you will be prompted to sign in or create an account. From there, you will have access to ‘Book’ a class via our timetable.

    OPTION 2: Desktop

    If you are using a laptop or tablet, we recommend visiting the website timetable. From there, simply select the ‘Sign Up’ button next to your first class. You will then be prompted through Mind Body Online to finalise your booking.

    Reformer Pilates is a whole body exercise designed to improve daily living.

    Co-ordinating movement and breath to work the smaller and deeper stabilizing muscles, Pilates help to develop functional and sustainable movement patterns throughout the body.

    Pilates is a low impact exercise that balances strength with mobility and flexibility. It help you move through life balanced, strong and with more freedom.
